Plasma Therapy

What is a Plasma therapy Facial treatment?

Have you heard of Kim Kardashian’s “Dracula Therapy”? This is less gory, more comfortable alternative, and 100% safer option.

We use the platelets of your own blood to promote tissue remodelling and healing in any type of skin. It affects the hydration, angiogenesis and overall health of your skin.

What can a Plasma Facial be used to treat?
A Plasma therapy facial aims to treat the all kinds of skin by through rehydration. As well as hydration of the skin, Plasma facials can be used to treat scarring on the body, loss of volume, and fight ageing signs.

As well as rehydration and rejuvenation effects, the concetrated levels of platalets being inserted to the area in need accelerated the inflammatory process, decrease pain and increase the re-epithelised area in wounds. The facial also has an antiseptic effect.

How does Plasma Facial work?
Plasma facials at Sonria use a patented technology (ENDORET) that significantly increases the production of endogenous hyaluronic acid and the secretion of collagen.

Is it safe?
Yes – we use your own platelets for the stimulation and acceleration of tissue healing and regeneration. Given that it comes from your own body, it is 100% biocompatible, versatile and safe. It is also free from leukocytes, which tend to increase the pain of inflammation of the traditional “Dracula Therapy”.

There are three therapeutic formulations obtained in the same process, meaning we can adapt the facial to your particular needs.

Our practitioners have been given exclusive training by ENDORET adapted to medical needs for innovative, top-quality healthcare.

Does it hurt?
Some patients have reported slight stinging discomfort, similar to that on mild sunburn. We can prevent any discomfort by applying a topical anaesthetic to the area being treated.

How long do the effects last?
It has been reported that the skin is significantly more hydrated with a Plasma facials compared to treatment with hyaluronic acid – up to 3 to 6 months after!
